Grain Free Cereal and Warm Spiced Milk

Usually my "cereal" is more appropriately used as a yoghurt topper or as a layer in a yoghurt parfait but here I have shown you how to make it as it's own bowl of seriously "cereal" deliciousness. 

Serves 1


  • A generous helping of Candi Killer Cereal (scroll down)

  • 200ml of coconut milk or any nut milk, tinned coconut is ideal for a creamy treat

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/3 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 cardomom pod, crushed to remove seeds

  • 4 cloves

  • 1 thumb sized piece of ginger

  • 1 tbsp date syrup


1. Dish out your desired amount of the cereal.

2. Heat up all the milk ingredients together and simmer gently for 5 minutes, remove the cloves and then top the cereal with it, sprinkle with some extra cinnamon goodness to finish off.
